Itinerary
Day
1
Hamilton & Paget

Tip: Before heading out: Pack up your bag with your swimsuit, towel, goggles, and sunscreen, and get ready for a day at the beach. If you want to maximize your day, bring nicer clothes (khakis, button down shirt) and shower at the beach so you can head directly to dinner, which is nearby.

9 am: Breakfast at Devils Isle Cafe in Hamilton (19 Burnaby St. Hamilton, Pembroke Parish) . We'd recommend the Banana Bread French Toast and Avocado Crush.
After brunch walk down to the Ferry Building (5 mins walk) to buy a packet of bus tickets (14 zones). Then walk up to the Bus Station (5 mins walk) to take #7 bus (direction either Barnes Corner; or Somerset/Dockyard). Bus ride takes ~25 minutes
12 pm: Beach time at Horseshoe Beach.
-
Rent 2 chairs and an umbrella for the day for $40 on the beach (they accept credit card)
-
Take a break at the Rum Bum Beach Bar. They're friendly and they have some ice cold drinks to help combat the head.
-
Go swimming! The water is crystal clear and there is fish to see if you swim out far enough.
-
Pro-tip: Try to visit the beach during the weekend, because during the weekdays, the cruise ships pull in and the beach can get crowded quickly.

If you want to maximize your day at the beach, use the bathrooms and showers at the beach.

8 pm: Dinner at Waterlot Inn. It's one of the nicest restaurants on the island. They're known for their steaks, although we'd recommend getting some seafood since it's fresh.

-
Bring US Dollars. The taxis, buses, etc. do not take credit card, but they do take US Dollars. No need to exchange your money for the Bermudian Dollar.
-
Tourists can't rent cars, so rely on public transportation and taxis. Download Hitch.Bm because they don't have Lyft or Uber.
-
If you take the bus several times, it's worth buying a booklet of bus tickets. You can purchase them at the Hamilton Ferry Terminal. A pack of 14 zones, nets out to $2.50/ticket (compared to $5/ticket onboard)
-
Stay near Paget or Hamilton. It's centrally located. Although St. George is pretty, it feels remote and is a trek to many beaches.
-
Consider an AirBnb. The hotels can get really expensive, but we found a cute and pink 2 bedroom/1 bath AirBnb for $360/night (including all taxes and fees)

We'd recommend downloading the app Map.Me and starring the recommended restaurants and sites. You can also download the map to your phone using Google Maps so you may use it offline if you don't have cell phone service in Bermuda.
Day
2
St. George's
9 am: Breakfast at Paraquet Restaurant. Go on a Sunday so you can enjoy the typical Codfish Breakfast, which they only serve on Sundays. It includes salted codfish and potatoes.

11 am: Take the #7 bus to Hamilton, and the #1, #3, #10, or #11 bus to St. George. It'll take about an hour.
12 pm: Walk around St. George, and check out a few sights:
-
St. George Town Hall: You can go inside and learn more about the history of St George
-
Somers Garden: A beautiful spot to take relax and take some pictures
-
Unfinished Church: Climb the hill and check out this church that has started to meld with nature. There is grass now where the pews used to be located.
1:30 pm: Take the #1, #3, #10, or #11 back towards Hamilton, but get off at Grotto Bay Resort (right after the bridge after the airport). Walk across the street, and down the road. There will be a gate, but climb around it, and continue down the path. You're headed towards the Blue Hole where you will be able to jump off the cliffs into aqua blue water.
2:30 pm: Grab some snacks and a drink at the Swizzle Inn. Probably one of the most famous drinks on the island, the Swizzle is a rum-based drink. They say, you "sizzle inn and swagger out."
7 pm: Dinner at Marcus Restaurant at the Hamilton Princess & Beach Hotel.
